ScoreHabit ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how the ScoreHabit mobile application handles your data.

No Account Required

ScoreHabit does not require account creation, login, or authentication. We do not collect your name, email, or password to use the app.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is stored exclusively on your device in an on-device database and is never transmitted to our servers:

Musical works and repertoire information you enter
Practice session data (time, measures studied, notes)
Progress statistics calculated from your sessions
Profile information you choose to enter (name, instruments, ensembles)
App preferences (language, theme)

Information Collected and Processed

Analytics (anonymous)

We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve features. This data is not linked to your identity and includes:

Product Interaction: which screens and features you use, taps on key actions
Device identifier: an anonymous installation ID used for analytics aggregation

This data is collected for App Functionality and Analytics purposes only. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never linked to a personal profile.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

If you subscribe to ScoreHabit Pro or make any in-app purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), and subscription state is managed via RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. This may include:

Purchase history (which products were purchased, renewal status)
An anonymous app user ID used by RevenueCat to associate purchases with your installation

We never receive your name, email, billing address, or payment method from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.

Contact Form (optional)

If you choose to contact us through the in-app contact form, the message you write and the email address you provide are sent to our server so we can respond to you. This information is used solely to reply to your inquiry.

ScoreHabit uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Data We Do Not Collect

ScoreHabit does not collect:

Precise location
Contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or files (the microphone is used only for real-time pitch detection on-device; no audio is stored or transmitted)
Health, financial, or sensitive personal information
Data used for advertising or sold to third parties

Microphone Access

ScoreHabit requests microphone access to provide real-time pitch detection while you practice. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local data: you can delete all ScoreHabit data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device Settings or uninstalling the app.
Analytics data: aggregated and retained for product improvement purposes.
Subscription data: retained as long as required by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat to manage your subscription.

Children's Privacy

ScoreHabit is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us at emilianospinoso@gmail.com and we will delete it.
